Pierre Poilievre should not be allowed to lose his riding and then come here to remove our duly elected and sworn-in Member of Parliament just so he can run again. To him, Battle River–Crowfoot is nothing more than a means to an end, and under his leadership, this riding risks losing its chance to truly be heard in Parliament.

Members of the Canadian Armed Forces deserve better working conditions and compensation. After decades of broken promises and chronic underfunding, Carney’s Liberals promised a nearly 20% pay boost two months ago. But once again, they are letting service members down. (new para) Bonnie will leverage her position as a swing vote in this minority parliament to hold the Liberal’s feet to the fire. Politicians need to make good on their commitments to our servicemen and women. If CAF wage increases have not been delivered within 30 days of the commencement of the fall session, Bonnie will table a private members bill, with proposed increases backdated to June 2025.

Bonnie supports publicly funded agricultural research that empowers local farmers with better yields, disease resistance, and climate resilience without burdening them with endless royalties or corporate control.
Right now, local independent veterinary practices are being bought up by multinational corporations, often backed by foreign venture capital firms. These corporations then turn around and inflate the prices they charge ranchers and pet owners. Veterinary services are essential, and many veterinarians want to stay independent, but are burning out trying to keep up with demand. To stop the corporate takeover of veterinary services, Bonnie will push to expand the number of spots funded in veterinary programs, and for legislation that sets out scheduled fee ranges for services, so these multinational corporations cannot price-gouge family farmers, inflating the cost of raising livestock.

During seeding or harvest, waiting days for a dealer-approved technician can cost thousands of dollars and put entire operations at risk.
Right to Repair isn’t just about agriculture. It affects everyone, from small mechanics trying to keep local businesses alive, to families forced to replace electronics and appliances that could easily be fixed if parts and manuals were available.
